  • What areas do you serve?
    We are cater to the greater Seattle area and it's surroundings. For events outside the Seattle region, we charge travel fees depending on distance. We will work with you to find a suitable solution.
  • How far in advance should I book ?
    Ideally, we recommend a minimum notice of two weeks for small gatherings and corporate events. For weddings and large events, we recommend booking at least 2–3 months in advance. Always strive to book as soon as possible. However, we understand that sometimes you may need services on shorter notice. If your event is less than two weeks away, please give us a call, and we will do our very best to accommodate your needs.
  • What types of events do you cater?
    GourmetMaria caters to a diverse range of events including intimate gatherings, parties, corporate events, and weddings. We pride ourselves on offering highly customizable catering solutions to ensure that every detail matches your unique vision and needs. Whether you are planning a small, cozy get-together, a lively party, a professional corporate affair, or a grand wedding, our team is committed to delivering an exceptional culinary experience tailored to your specific requirements.
  • Do you offer bar services?
    Not yet. We are consistently working to increase the offerings we provide and we will support this soon.
  • Do you offer menu customizations?
    Yes, we understand that each event is unique and may require personalized menu options. Whether you're planning for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or other dietary preferences, our team will work closely with you to design a menu that perfectly suits your event and ensures your guests have a memorable dining experience.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Cancellations made 2 weeks or more in advance will receive a partial refund, less the non-refundable deposit.
  • What is your payment policy for catering services?
    We require a 25% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. This initial deposit ensures that we can reserve your date and begin the early stages of planning. The remaining balance is due at least 7 days before the event.
  • Do you work on major holidays?
    Yes, we understand the importance of celebrating special occasions no matter the date. Please note that due to the increased demand and the special nature of these days, there is an additional 20% service fee applied to our standard rates. This allows us to adequately compensate our staff and maintain the high standards you've come to expect from GourmetMaria.
  • What types of cuisine do you offer?
    Our menus are rooted in Ghanaian flavors and inspired by global cuisines. We offer both traditional dishes and modern fusion creations tailored to your event’s style and dietary preferences.
  • Do you offer tastings or consultations and do you charge for it?
    Yes! We offer menu consultations and tastings for weddings and custom events. Yes, we charge a small fee for tastings. If you choose us for your event, that amount is applied toward your final invoice.
